Characteristics: Affectionate, intelligent and
agile.
Origin: Developed exclusively in Sydney, Australia from Burmese, Abyssinian, and Domestic shorthair cats. Formerly known as Spotted Mists, the name Australian Mist was officially accepted in 1998.
Kittens: They are curious, lively and sober and very affectionate towards people. They adapt well to other animals and children and are very tolerant to being handled. They make good house pets even though they are active and intelligent because they are so devoted to their owners.
