Problems converting rm files - Did you really rename it as you've consistently (mis)spelled it -- realib ? The correct spelling is reallib . If you've named the folder realib, that's going to be a problem -- the app expects to find a folder named reallib. Maybe that's your problem?...

How to encode High Quality MKV to (SD) AVI? - What you wish to do is possible, but it needs TIME. Lot's off. The workaround that I do to succeed it, goes like this: 1- First you load your source to avidemux and you add the subs you wish to hardsub. You save the new file to Mjpeg with 90 or more quality. 2 - The new huge file, that now includes the subs, you open it to Virtualdub . Th ...

Panasonic Submits 3D Blu-ray Proposal to BDA for 2010 - Sounds Like a very good idea. All I have to do is: 1. Buy a new tv. (old one is only 720P) 2. Buy a blue-ray player. (I need another old player collecting dust) 3. Buy expensive Blue-ray movies. 4. Buy 3-D glasses for everyone watching the movie. 5. 15 - 20 minutes later get dizzy feel sick the rest of the night. 6. Never use them again so I ...

VirtualDub can't open my mpg from camcorder - Just to add, that there is also the ultra stable Virtualdub mpeg2 But, nowdays, you can download this plug in here (as you already find out): http://fcchandler.home.comcast.net/~fcchandler/Plugins/MPEG2/index.html Install it to the later Virtualdub versions (1.8.1 or later) and can do your job easy....

Best format for MiniDV convertion (Mpeg2 or H264) - H264 is the future. Mpeg 2 is the bigger part of the present. Mpeg 2 on a superbit DVD with the highest possible bitrate (9800kb/s) wasn't always enough to keep the 100% of the DV picture quality. And that shows mostly on big LCD TV Screens (42"+ ). H264 on around 6.000kb/s is capable to hold the 100% of DVs picture quality. Probably even 4.5 ...

Missing a codec? - Why do I not already have a codec for this? This seems like about the most common, basic video file there could be. When I look at the list of codecs for GSpot , there are like 150 of the most bizarre things I've never heard of why does it come with all of that dross but not MPEG-2? And why do I want that particular one? Is it "the" offic ...

MKVs and subtitles freezing problem - I have a weird issue when I try to play files in MKV containers that DON'T have subtitles embedded in WMP11 .
